Agha Engineering, LLC (AEL) is the prime consultant on the Armand Bayou pedestrian, intersection, and drainage improvements project between Partnership Park and Fairmont Parkway Trail Head. AEL provided H&H, schematic, and PS&E on the 2.5-mile project located in the City of Pasadena, TX.

AEL delineated the roadway drainage areas and performed hydraulic routing to replace open ditches with storm sewer and curb & gutter to allow a sidewalk to be placed adjacent to the roadway. Improvements included the ditch regrading between the proposed sidewalk and existing roadway to convey flow to the proposed storm sewer. Storm sewer, waterline, sanitary sewer, and pedestrian pole adjustments were designed to accommodate the proposed ten-foot-wide trail.

A pedestrian bridge was designed to allow safe passage over existing FEMA studied channel. A Hydraulic Impact analysis was performed including scour analysis to ensure the integrity of the bridge in the long-term.
